The Committee on European Integration reviewed the Bill on Metrology and Metrology Activity as to its Compliance with the EU Legislation

The bill (Reg. No.8562-1) improves normative-legal base of the state metrology system.

The committee concluded that the bill conforms to the European law.

Namely, the term "state metrology supervision" of clause 1 of the bill corresponds to the term "legislative metrology control" of clause 4 of the European Parliament and Council Directive 2004/22/EC on measuring instruments; clauses 1 and 31 of the bill do not contradict the term "technical documentation" in the sphere of metrology of clause 10 of the same Directive.
